ISLAMABAD, March 27 (PPI): The three-day International Conference on Gender Mainstreaming and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) will start here today (Monday). The conference is hosted by the Ministry of Women Development, Government of Pakistan, and coordinated by All Pakistan Women's Association (APWA) in collaboration with several UN agency partners including UNDP, UNICEF UNFPA and UNESCO. The MDGs are a set of 8 time-bound measurable goals which have become the commonly accepted framework for measuring development progress.
