Before that: Bill Elliott (44 career wins) was 48 when he won at Rockingham on November 9, 2003. Marlin (10 career wins) is not in the same company.
Terry Labonte, 48, who is running a 10-race schedule this season, including next week's race at Bristol: "It's a little funny not knowing exactly what I'm going to be doing every Sunday, but I really enjoy it.
