English school makes big screen debut in South Korea

In South Korea, mastering English is considered a shortcut to getting a good job in a good company. Children start learning English from the third grade of primary school and the number of English lessons and English words that they are required to study at middle school level are greater than in Japanese schools. Many adults go on to study English at private English-language schools just like in Japan, with the number of such schools mushrooming in big cities.
