Section: General News - Suspected Muslim insurgents shot dead a state railway worker and seriously injured two government officials in separate attacks in the deep South yesterday, The Nation reports.

Khunthong Tasue, 40, a railway worker in Ra-ngae district, was killed and his colleague Choo Khamlue, 52, injured when a gunman riding pillion on a motorbike opened fire on them as they sat in front of a home for state railway workers in Than Yong Mat subdistrict.
