I am writing in response to the letter "More Than a Word" (December 2004) by Tom Deniston. I would be obliged if you could pass my contact details to him in the hope that he might correspond with me with respect to the situation in the U.S. regarding accreditation of people who consult professionally on access to buildings and the modified environment for people with mobility impairments.
Australia established a national Association of Consultants in Access, Australia (ACAA) in 2000. The association now has members in every state in Australia. I am the current national president.
