I was so happy to read Diana West's article "The Good News about Lactation After Breast Surgery" (November-December 2004), and especially her conclusion that "Every drop of milk that a baby receives is precious, and every moment that a baby spends at the breast is invaluable. A lack of milk need not diminish that experience."
