Your cover article in September, "Protect Yourself Online," was excellent and extremely timely. This morning I received an e-mail from U.S. Bank, asking me to update my account data. I am not a customer of that bank. I called U.S. Bank in Cincinnati and was told that it did not send this mall. A classic example of phishing! I contacted the FBI and was asked to forward the e-mail to the Secret Service and to file a complaint on an FBI Web site, www.ifccfbi.gov. I also sent a copy to the fraud department of U.S. Bank and to my ISP.
