Fred Desjarlais, 55, was attacked on New Year's Eve by a timber wolf in northern Saskatchewan. Desjarlais was jogging home from the uranium milling facility he works at in Key Lake, about four hundred miles north of Saskatoon. He had finished his shift at 7 P.M. and had decided to jog back to camp instead of catching the shuttle bus.
