A Highland nursery teaching children with speech and language difficulties is to take part in pioneering research projects after receiving a positive report from independent inspectors.

The team visited the I CAN nursery in Obsdale near Alness to give the site official education accreditation.

But they were so impressed by what they saw that they now want the centre, which is attached to the Obsdale Nursery, to become an example for other UK education centres and take part in research projects for education publications.
