The Rafhan Maize Products Company won the corporate excellence award of the Management Association of Pakistan (MAP) in food, consumer goods and allied sector. The sectoral excellence awards were won by the Pakistan State Oil Company Ltd in chemical and allied sector, the Al Ghazi Tractors in engineering, and the Thal Limited in miscellaneous category. In the commercial banking sector, the Askari Commercial Bank Ltd won the corporate excellence award, while the Standard Chartered Modaraba won the excellence award in non-banking financial institutions sector.
