TAIPEI, March 14 Asia Pulse - Taiwan exports to mainland China are increasingly going to Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces in the central part of the country, with the two provinces accounting for nearly 60 per cent of Taiwan's mainland-bound shipments last year, according to government tallies released Friday.

The statistics made public by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs show that along with rapidly growing Taiwan investment in central mainland China, Taiwan exports to Jiangsu and Zhejiang accounted for 58.3 per cent of the country's total outbound shipments to the mainland in 2004.
