Residents in the George Street area are being urged to speak out about issues affecting them at a Planning for Real consultation on March 19 arranged by the city council. The open day will take place between 10am and 3pm in Catherine Street Community Centre. It will help shape George Street's first Neighbourhood Community Action Plan. Police and fire officers will be on hand to ask questions and there will be live music, arts and crafts, jewellery-making, street games and face-painting.
