Sandi Grecco played the song "The Feeling Music Brings" over and over again on the CD player to see how quickly her band could learn it on their own.
This isn't the typical way Grecco teaches new songs to her student proteges in The Drum Studio All-Stars, a group of students from Booker and Lemon Bay high schools who have performed at several Sarasota concerts and are hoping to do more.
She was challenging them with her new approach, and they accepted the challenge.
