Wellington, March 10 - All Blacks captain Tana Umaga will make his return to Super 12 rugby via the Hurricanes bench.

The midfield back was today named among the reserves for the Hurricanes' match against the Sharks in Durban on Saturday morning (NZ time).

Umaga rejoined the Hurricanes this week after suffering an abdominal strain injury during the tsunami charity match in England last weekend.

The Hurricanes have plenty of depth in the midfield, and coach Colin Cooper has decided to start with Conrad Smith and Tane Tu'ipulotu at second five-eighth and centre respectively.
