Abstract
Selecting and narrowing a topic are key components of research models. Many students complete the research process without ever identifying a focus for their research. Lack of a focus causes anxiety and frustration and leads to research results that are little more than a summary of information. This paper will explore asking "good" questions as a strategy to focus a research topic.
