Abstract

Feminist teachers often look to computer-mediated communication as a solution to the gender inequities of the classroom. This paper discusses the difficulties encountered by feminist teachers in a computer medium. Specific suggestions are made regarding ways to improve computer-mediated instruction for female students and to encourage active participation by women in the technology decisions affecting us all.
