Sun Microsystems has announced upgrades to its Sun Blade 1500 and Sun Blade 2500 workstations, based on the UltraSparc processor. Both models offer a 40-percent increase in performance, as well as twice the memory and improved graphics capabilities, over previous-generation Sun Blade systems.
