SEOUL, March 2 Asia Pulse - South Korea plans to export 60 locally-developed supersonic trainer jets to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 2009, officials said Wednesday.

The two countries will sign a US$2 billion contract for the supply of T-50s by December at the latest, said Kim Jun-myung, a spokesman at the state-run Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), manufacturer of the plane.
