SYDNEY, March 2 Asia Pulse - The Australian dollar was trading half a US cent weaker at noon, after the release of softer than expected national accounts data.
At 1200 AEDT the currency was trading at $US0.7820/23, compared to yesterday's close of 0.7875/79.
During the morning it traded at a high of $US0.7885 and a low of 0.7802.
The Australian dollar opened at $US0.7862, and was trading at 0.7870 at 1122 AEDT, however after the gross domestic product (GDP) data it fell to 0.7820.
The ABS said December quarter national accounts or gross domestic product (GDP) rose by a seasonally adjusted 0.1 per cent.
Economists had forecast a rise of around 0.4 per cent.
