HYUNDAI DEPT STORE TO SELL APPLIANCES MADE BY CHINA'S HAIER.
SEOUL, March 2 Asia Pulse - China's largest home appliance maker Haier Group Co. will put its products on sale at a domestic department store for the first time this week, industry sources said Wednesday.
According to the sources, Hyundai Department Store (KSE:005440) will hold special sales of Haier products from Friday to March 13 at its two branches in Seoul.
Haier, also the world's fourth-largest appliance company, will offer local customers small washing machine and refrigerated wine cabinets, which domestic home appliance makers do not produce as flagship items, during the period at the stores, the sources said.
