SEOUL, March 2 Asia Pulse - Seven out of 10 firms in South Korea plan to raise the salary of their employees by an average 8.5 per cent this year, an online job portal said Wednesday.
According to Incruit Corp., 66.7 per cent of 135 listed or registered companies said they plan to increase staff salaries this year.
Another 32.6 per cent said they plan to freeze wages, while only one firm said it intends to introduce pay cuts.
