Two police officers were left with minor injuries after they went to arrest a man they believed to be driving while disqualified. The incident happened on Budshead Road in Crownhill, Plymouth, in the early hours of yesterday. The officers did not need hospital treatment and the 38-year-old local man, who was taken to Crownhill Police station for questioning, has now been charged with driving offences and resisting arrest, and will appear before Plymouth magistrates this morning.
