by Anne Alexander Parliamentary Correspondent MUMS and dads will be allowed to take more time off to look after their babies under plans being unveiled by the Government today.
Paid maternity leave will be extended from six to nine months, with mothers allowed to transfer the time off to fathers.
It means fathers will be allowed to take up to three months paid time off to become the full-time carer while the mother goes back to work.
Other plans being unveiled today also include allowing more people, such as carers and those with older children, to request flexible working to fit with their duties at home. …
