A GOLDEN opportunity to capitalise on China's booming chemical industry is available to north-west firms.

The region's own chemical industry is the largest in the UK, and companies now have the chance to explore business opportunities with their opposite numbers in China, through China-Chem, a two-day conference.

It will take place on April 13 and 14 in Dongying City, on China's east coast at the heart of the Yellow River delta chemical industries base. The Chinese are looking to form partnerships with companies over here, and share expertise. …
