Kenya seeks teacher training support from Asia.

Nairobi, Kenya (PANA) - Kenyan has signed a teacher training support agreement with the University of Philippines and upgraded its existing Japanese-funded regional science training centre to accommodate more teachers from across Africa.

Kenyan Education Minister George Saitoti said the dual move is to bolster science and mathematics teaching and borrow from other African countries new experiences in the field of training teachers.

He said the East African nation would supply more science training facilities to 91 other schools.
