THAI promotes marriage the Lanna way.

Section: Corporate News - Couples from around the world will descend on the northern city of Chiang Mai next tomorrow to take part in a mass wedding ceremony designed to showcase the traditions of the ancient Lanna Kingdom.
Organized by Thai Airways International, the Legendary Chiang Mai Wedding Ceremony will involve 55 couples - a number chosen to honour the 55th anniversary of the Royal marriage of Their Majesties the King and Queen.
Among the couples will be luminaries including a Nepalese prince and his bride, a Korean film star and popular Thai singer John Nuvo.
