(From Thai Press Reports)
Section: Corporate News - Sky-High Network Co Ltd, an RS Promotion subsidiary, will next month launch a 'multi-channel' radio programme that will also be available to television viewers through the TTV network, The Nation reports.
From March 1, the company's 'Look Thung Hit' Thai folk music programme, currently broadcast on FM 90MHz channel, will be moved to 107.25MHz and also be available to TV viewers.
"The new cross-channel media format will provide added value to audiences, who will not only be able to listen to the music via radio but also watch their favourite DJs working and interviewing guest artists via satellite TV," said Surachat Tangtragool, managing director of Sky-High Network.
Surachat said the new multi-channel radio programme would serve more than a million listeners who have also subscribed to TTV's satellite TV broadcast.
TTV also plans to provide set-top decoders at mass-transit points such as railway and bus stations for public viewing of the programme.
RS Promotion Plc currently operates four radio stations - FM 88.5MHz, 93.0MHz, 106MHz and 90.0MHz - through Sky-High Network.
