With high oil prices driving economic growth in the Gulf, its business jet market is also thriving due to strong and hectic activity, officials said.

Business jet aviation in the Gulf, despite the recent growth, is still very small compared to other regions.

Sean McGeough, Raytheon's vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said: "Outlook for the growth of the Gulf's business jet aviation market is very strong.
