NEW DELHI: Having driven out of the woods this fiscal, India's oldest surviving car maker Hindustan Motors (HM) has now decided to enhance its vehicle portfolio with models sourced from Mitsubishi Motor of Japan.
The GP-CK Birla group flagship firm has already initiated the process of locally producing two new Mitsubishi passenger vehicles at its Chennai plant, alongside the Lancer, Hindustan Motors MD Ravi Santhanam told said.
