WINNER OF TELECOMMUNICATION TENDER TO BE KNOWN IN APR: PT TELKOM
JAKARTA - The winner of a tender to build a telecommunications cable project valued at Rp500 billion (US$55.5 million) will be announced in April, the state-owned telecommunications company PT Telkom said.
Six multinational companies took part in the tender for the optic fiber cable project, which will link Java with Sumatra and Kalimantan totaling 2,000 kilometers in length , PT Telkom secretary Adek Julianwar said.
