S. KOREA'S ASIANA TO OPEN INCHEON-SIEM REAP ROUTE IN APRIL
HANOI - Asiana Airlines (KOSDAQ:20560), the smaller of South Korea's two flag carriers, will launch new flights between Incheon and Siem Reap, Cambodia, in April to meet growing demand for travel to the Southeast Asian country, a company official said Monday.
"The opening of the direct route makes it easy to travel (from South Korea) to Angkor Wat," said Shim Sang-kyu, head of Asiana's branch here, referring to the world-famous temple complex in Siem Riep. "A new tourist product will be created by linking it to the top tourist destination of Halong Bay in northern Vietnam."
