MELBOURNE, Feb 28 Asia Pulse - The 2004/05 financial year looks like being one of the best in recent times for the corporate sector after Australian companies reported a healthy boost in profits for the first six months.
CommSec chief equities economist Craig James said the corporate sector was on track to report profit growth for the full year of 20 to 25 per cent, after boosting aggregate earnings by 43 per cent in the six months to December 2004.
