JEONJU, South Korea, Feb. 25 (Yonhap) -- A former contract worker of GM Daewoo Auto and Technology Co. set himself on fire at the U.S.-owned automaker's maintenance shop here Friday, injuring himself and 24 workers, police said.
The 49-year-old former GM Daewoo worker, identified only by his family name Kang, doused himself with paint thinner at a union office of the company maintenance shop in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, about 245 kilometers south of Seoul, police said.
