Shareholders in Centrica plc, the owner of the mighty British Gas brand in the UK, have a lot to be happy about. Today`s results from the company for the year ended 31st December 2004 show that shareholders received a total of GBP1.592 billion pounds in 2004 in the form of dividends and share buybacks. The same cannot be said for domestic customers who did poorly ...very poorly.
