JINAN, February 22, SinoCast -- Japan-based Matsushita Electric Industrial has planned to outsource its CRT color televisions to Chinese electronics maker TCL, and commits itself to producing high-end color televisions.

Matsushita Electric Industrial reached alliance with TCL in 2002. Under their agreement, Matsushita Electric Industrial produces color cathode-ray tubes, and TCL is responsible for assembling Panasonic-branded color televisions that are sold in Chinese market.
