Dept. of Veterans Affairs hospitals received good news and bad news in December. A RAND Corp. study showed patients in VA hospitals preventive and chronic care than the rest of Americans. But at least one was found to have some quality problems, and received a warning by the Inspector General's office.
Overall, VA patients received 67% of recommended care procedures...
