Gaming revenues are growing fast and hardware manufacturers, content, and service providers are cashing in on the increasing popularity of mobile games as a major revenue earner.

"Gaming has proven itself over time as a valuable consumer business in the PC [personal computer], console, and portable mobile gaming devices," said Dennis Manzano, general manager of the Philippine branch of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications International AB.
