HOHHOT, Oct 2 Asia Pulse - East part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region adjacent to the three northeastern provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning will be built into a nonferrous metals production and processing base, focusing on aluminum, lead, zinc, copper and precious metals.
For this purpose, the region will step up development and exploitation of nonferrous metals in the Da Hinggan Mountains, according to sources with the region's Development and Reform Commission.
