The Scholarship Foundation of the Bradenton Branch of the American Association of University Women awards scholarships to people who are at least 25 years old and completing their undergraduate degrees or pursuing advanced degrees.

The branch honored this year's recipients Sept. 19 at an event at Peridia Golf and Country Club, 4950 Peridia Blvd., Bradenton.

Scholarships recipients are: Sylvia Archie, of Bradenton, majoring in professional administration at Barry University; Melinda Zarzychi, of Bradenton, majoring in alternative medicine at Everglades University; Leah Helm, of Nokomis, majoring in nursing at the University of South Florida; Sherry Catlett, of…
