THE X Factor has turned Rowetta Satchell's life around. Before she auditioned for the talent show last year she was best known as the sometime backing singer for the Happy Mondays who had left the band after splitting up from its wayward frontman Shaun Ryder. And before she auditioned she didn't know what she was going to do with her life. Her focus at that time was looking after a sick relative, who's since sadly died. Now, She's everyone's favourite character from the show, despite only coming fourth behind less memorable acts like Tabby Callaghan, G4 and the winner Steve Brookstein.
