NAMM, the International Music Products Association has announced several staff changes as part of a reorganization effort.
Pat Martin, NAMM's director of events, was promoted to the newly created position of chief operating officer, responsible for supervising NAMM's day-to-day operations including the creation of a new Member Contact Center.
Melanie Ripley, from NAMM's membership department, is department manager. Jazz Watts, NAMM's longtime receptionist, joined Ripley in the Member Contact Center.
Appointed director of market development was Eric Ebel, formerly NAMM's trade show senior account representative. Ebel will be responsible for an annual budget of approximately $5 million that NAMM will reinvest back into the industry in the form of programs, activities and initiatives to create more active music makers.
