The Africa Zone Five boxing tournament that was to be held in Khartoum from February 13 to 17 has been postponed.

The tournament will now be held in March. It will coincide with the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) meeting.

The National Olympic Committee of Kenya deputy secretary, Francis K. Paul, said the Amateur Boxing Association of Kenya had been informed of the postponement.

The ABA plans to send three boxers and a coach to the Sudan championship. Their Sh145,000 trip will be funded by NOCK. Hosts Sudan will take care for allowances, …
