Kathmandu, [Monday] 7 February: Faced with a major dilemma, the Supreme Court [SC] on Monday refused to accept a habeas corpus writ petition seeking the release of senior advocate Sindhu Nath Pyakurel, citing lack of time. Pyakurel was arrested a few days ago.

A group of lawyers led by Shambhu Thapa, president of Nepal Bar Association, had gone to the SC to file the petition.
