KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 7 (Bernama) -- Motorists with outstanding summonses travelling outstation during the Chinese New Year festive period are advised to bring "extra cash" as traffic police have set up three more on-the-spot payment counters for them to settle their dues.

Internal Security and Public Order Director Datuk Othman Talib said the counters would be put up at Juru (Penang) and Machap (Melaka) on the North-South Highway, and Ajil (Terengganu) on state road in addition to the three counters set up at Tapah, Merapoh and Machap during Ops Sikap VII during the last Hari Raya Puasa.
