The Deputy Minister of Education has expressed his concern over the drop in the attainment level in mathematics in the primary and secondary school examinations.

He touched on the possibility in reviewing the method of selecting math teachers and stressed the need to be absolutely critical to approach the subject in a different way.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of "Mathematics Education - Foundation For the Future" yesterday, Pehin Dato Paduka Hj Suyoi thus underlined that the Ministry of Education's efforts over the years have apparently not brought about qualitative improvement they sought. …
