Tokyo and Washington will further work out details of the strategic objectives--the basic guidelines for realignment of the U.S. forces in Japan--such as how the Japanese and U.S. forces share their roles and how they respond to crisis in the Asia-Pacific region, including the Taiwan Strait, they said.
