NEW DELHI : Faced with crossed-wire litigations between state owned BSNL and private telecom operators on one hand and telecom regulatory authority challenging the appellate TDSAT powers on other, the Supreme Court on Friday issued notices to the parties concerned.
BSNL's grievance against private basic telecom operators was that it had been asked by the Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) to extend the concessional alternate tariff package, which is available to its own subscribers, to the subscribers of other service providers.
