Taipei, Jan. 13, 2005 (CENS)--Harvatek Corp., the light-emitting diode affiliate of business of foundry giant United Microelectronics Corp. (UMC) recently acquired its first order for white-light diodes after licensing the technology from German lighting titan Osram.
