Concerning your December report, "Where to Shop for Electronics," don't forget the independently owned TV store, especially for hard-to-install items such as HDTVs. When I went shopping for a big-screen HDTV, naturally I visited the big chains. I found the set I wanted, a Sony 60-inch LCD, for $3,995. Then I stopped by a father-and-son-owned Sony store. I found the same set at the same price. One big difference: Dad and lad delivered the set and wired my home theater free of charge. Best of all, they arrived within 5 minutes of the promised time, not, "We'll be there between noon and 5 p.m."
