Epimmune Inc provided an update of ongoing clinical development programmes with its EP-2101 therapeutic cancer and EP-1090 therapeutic HIV vaccines Epimmune conducted two Phase I clinical trials of EP-2101 in the US, with stage IIB/IIIA non-small cell lung (NSCL) cancer and stage III colorectal cancer patients. Patients enrolled in the trials previously had surgery to remove all detectable cancer cells and were expected to have normal immune system function.
